That is 11,508 Assistant Teacher Primary, Urban posts in Basic Shiksha Parishad schools plus 897 Assistant Teacher Attached Primary posts in aided non-government schools. Both posts carry Pay Level-6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400). If you hold a degree, a BTC or D.El.Ed. and a TET pass, this is one of the biggest Uttar Pradesh government job openings of the year.
Online registration (OTR) and applications start on 16 September 2026. The notification does not print a separate last date to apply. The Attached Primary post has no seat for ST candidates in either boys’ or girls’ schools, and only 7 EWS seats in total. ST candidates should look at the Urban post, which has 198 ST seats. Also remember that the Urban post alone has 11,508 of the 12,405 seats, so for most candidates it is the main target. Since you must fill a preference for both school types while applying, think about it calmly before you submit.

Only the date of birth on your High School certificate is accepted. Reservation benefits are only for UP domiciles; candidates from other states are treated as General.
