Three posts carry no Unreserved seat at all. The Anaesthesiology post is for ST only, the Pediatrics post is for EWS only, and the Ladakh post is for ST candidates who are also Ladakh domiciles. Read the experience line twice. For both Assistant Professor posts, the three years count only after your first post-graduate degree, and only in a recognised teaching institution. The NDMC specialist posts ask for experience in the specialty rather than teaching experience, but a diploma holder needs five years instead of three. Age is counted on the closing date for your post. The Ladakh post closes a week later, so its cut-off is 9 October 2026; if you are near the limit, check your exact age on the right date. The advertisement gives only the Pay Matrix level, not a rupee figure, so check the level against the current pay matrix. UPSC may grant a higher initial pay to candidates judged meritorious in the interview. Medical officers get the Non-Practicing Allowance because private practice of any kind is not allowed.
