Desirable, not compulsory: for the three Professional posts, a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration with finance and accounts, CA, CS or Cost Accountant, or an equivalent degree the Selection Committee finds useful, plus experience in Competition Law. For the Administrative posts, higher qualification and experience get preference. If you hold a graduate degree, it helps for the (CS) posts, where it is essential for two of the three.

Apart from basic pay, the posts carry DA, HRA and Transport Allowance at Central Government rates. Pay and deputation (duty) allowance follow DOPT instructions, and the deputation rules are those of DOPT and the Government notification mentioned in the memorandum.
One point matters for your family. Medical reimbursement is given as per CCI service rules, and this is in lieu of CGHS, which is not admissible to officers of the DG’s Office. The office is, however, eligible for allotment or retention of government accommodation from the General Pool.
What Is the Selection Process for CCI Recruitment 2026?

The employer certificate says that no vigilance, disciplinary or criminal case is pending or contemplated against you, that your integrity is certified, that the cadre controlling authority has no objection, and that you will be relieved immediately if selected. If you are on deputation already, you also need to give the details of your parent office. If your present pay scale is not in the Central Government pay matrix, show its equivalence and attach proof.
