- Senior Project Associate code 5922606 lists only a degree. Code 5922621 accepts a PhD in Life Science with 2 years of experience instead.
- Senior Project Associate codes 5922626 to 5922631 also accept a Master’s in Engineering/Technology, or a Doctoral degree with 2 years of experience.

The higher figure applies to those who have cleared CSIR-UGC, ICAR or ICMR NET (including lectureship or assistant professorship) or GATE, or a national-level exam run by a central department such as DBT or DST. Carry proof of it, because the pay slab depends on that certificate.
