Who Can Apply
Every post is open to officers of the Central Government, State Government, Courts or Tribunals. The exception is Account Assistant, which is open to Central Government officers only. The circular prescribes no educational degree. It asks for a service condition instead: either you hold an analogous post on a regular basis in your parent cadre or department, or you have the feeder-grade service below.

Read the service line for your own post slowly, because the years are counted in the grade named, after a regular appointment to it. Time spent on ad hoc or temporary charge may not count, so check your service book. Note the extra condition for Account Assistant. Either route alone is not enough: the cash and account training is also required. All service must be counted in the parent cadre or department.

The circular lists only the pay-matrix scale. It does not list allowances or deputation pay rules in detail. The terms of deputation follow the DoPT office memorandums dated 17 June 2010 and 17 February 2016, as amended, so ask your own establishment branch how your pay will be fixed. A Level 7 post such as Section Officer or Private Secretary is a step up for a Level 6 officer with five years in grade, and those two posts have only three seats between them. Compare the pay with what you draw today before you decide to move cities.
What is the Selection Process for DRAT Allahabad Deputation?
The circular does not describe any selection stages, test or interview. It only says that willing and eligible candidates who can be spared immediately should be forwarded, with their records. It neither announces nor rules out a test. Watch the DRAT notice board and the E-DRT portal (drt.gov.in, Notices, Public Notice, DRAT Allahabad) for further instructions, because the circular is also uploaded there. Since the notice is silent on the method, nobody can tell you today how names will be picked, and you should not trust anyone who claims to know.

How to Apply for DRAT Allahabad Recruitment 2026 Offline?
This is an offline process. There is no online form and no application link. You apply on the prescribed proforma and your own office forwards it.
- Download the circular from the Essential Links below and copy the Annexure-I application proforma.
- Fill it clearly with your service particulars, experience, qualification and the post and place of posting you are applying for. Affix a recent passport-size photograph.
- Attach attested photocopies of your APARs for the last five years.
- Ask your parent office to fill the Annexure-II certificate: no vigilance case pending or contemplated, integrity beyond doubt, penalty details for the last 10 years, and no objection to immediate relief if you are selected.
- Send the full set through proper channel so that it reaches The Secretary/Registrar, Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal, First Floor, E-10 B Building, BSNL Premises, Patrika Marg, Civil Lines, Prayagraj – 211001 (U.P.) on or before 28 December 2026, 5:30 PM.
The circular says nothing about an application fee. Since the form travels with your parent office, keep a photocopy of the full set for yourself, and note the date your office sends it so you can follow up well before the closing date.
