Eligibility Criteria for MeECL Graduate Apprentice 2025

- Educational Qualification:

- No graduate holder who has training or job experience for a period of one year or more after attaining the qualifying qualifications shall be eligible.
- A person who has been a Graduate apprentice under the Act and whose contract of apprenticeship was terminated for any reason shall not be eligible without prior approval of the Apprenticeship Adviser.
- A person with previous job experience of one or more years after passing the minimum qualifying examination shall not be eligible unless approved by the Apprentice Advisor of BOAT.
- NATS Registration: Candidates must enroll/register with the Board of Practical Training (BOPTER) through online enrolment at the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) website (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) and possess a valid enrolment ID generated after successful enrolment. This must be done within a specified period of three years after passing the qualifying examination.

Salary & Benefits for MeECL Graduate Apprentices

- Service Conditions: The service conditions of the apprentices will be governed by The Apprentice Act 1961, as amended from time to time.

- Certificate: Every graduate apprentice who completes their apprenticeship training to the satisfaction of the employer shall be granted a certificate of satisfactory completion of apprentice training by the employer. Additionally, apprentice trainees shall receive a certificate of proficiency from BOPTER.
- Important Note: It shall not be obligatory on the part of MeECL to offer any employment to any apprentice who has completed the period of his/her apprenticeship training, nor shall it be obligatory on the part of the apprentice to accept employment under the employer.
