The Registrar or the Dean (Academic Affairs) must certify that these conditions are met. A PhD from a foreign university is guided by the UGC Regulations.
The Controller of Examination post needs any one of these experience routes:
- 15 years as Assistant Professor in Academic Level-11 and above, or 8 years in Academic Level-12 and above including as Associate Professor, along with experience in educational administration.
- Comparable experience in a research establishment or other institutions of higher education.
- 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years must be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
