NTET Clearance Certificate is required at the time of interview unless the candidate already holds an NCISM Teacher Code.
  • Medical Officer: MD/MS (Ayurved) in any of the listed specialty subjects from a recognised University, duly recognised under CCIM Act 1970 / NCISM Act 2020.
  • Panchakarma Vaidya: MD (Ayurveda) in Panchkarma from a recognised University.
  • Radiologist: MD Radiology, OR MBBS with DNB Radiology (2 years) plus 2 years’ experience in a 50+ bedded hospital, with NMC and AERB/ELORA registration.
  • Deputy Director (Admn. & Finance) — Deputation: Central/State Government officers in analogous post, OR officers in Pay Level 10 with 3 years’ administrative experience.
  • Accountant: B.Com. OR MBA (Financial Management) OR Chartered Accountant.
  • Nursing Officer (Ayurveda): B.Sc. Nursing (Ayush), OR Diploma in Nursing & Pharmacy of Ayush plus 2 years’ experience on a Nursing Post in a minimum 25-bedded hospital.
  • Librarian: Bachelor Degree or higher in Library & Information Sciences plus 2 years’ post-qualification experience.
  • Junior Translation Officer: Master’s degree with Hindi/English combination plus a Diploma/Certificate in Translation, OR 2 years’ Translation experience in a Central/State Government office (including PSUs).
  • Pharmacist: 12th Pass plus Diploma in Ayush Nursing & Pharmacy (3 years) with 1 year experience, OR B.Pharma (Ayurved), OR D.Pharma (Ayurved) with 2 years’ experience.

Working knowledge of Computer and Artificial Intelligence is required for nearly every post.

Age Limit (as on 20 June 2026)

  • Professor: Upper limit 55 years
  • Associate Professor: Upper limit 50 years
  • Assistant Professor / Medical Officer / Panchakarma Vaidya / Radiologist: Upper limit 40 years
  • Librarian: Upper limit 35 years

Age relaxation is admissible — 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD, and 5 years for serving Central/State Government and Autonomous Body employees. There is no upper age limit for regular employees of NIA.

What is the Salary for NIA Jaipur & Panchkula Recruitment 2026?

Pay is fixed under the 7th CPC Pay Matrix and the New Pension Scheme (NPS) is applicable. The in-hand monthly pay (after DA, HRA and applicable allowances) for a Professor at NIA Panchkula is generally well above Rs. 1.85 lakh, while an Assistant Professor or Medical Officer earns roughly Rs. 90,000 – Rs. 95,000 in basic pay alone in the initial years.
