Who Is Eligible for ASACS MO and SMO Recruitment 2026?
The MBBS degree with valid registration is the base for both posts. Here is the post-wise requirement.

Desirable (not compulsory):
- ART Plus and ART posts: work experience in the HIV/AIDS programme in field settings. Those with MD Medicine / Diploma in Medicine will be preferred.
- OST post: 6 months of Junior Residency in any clinical branch, and work experience in the HIV/AIDS programme in field settings.
Read the notice carefully before you choose a date. The SMO post is only at SMCH, Silchar (12 November 2026), and it is the only post where an MBBS candidate needs 3 years of experience, while a fresher Post Graduate from a clinical discipline will also be considered. The OST post is only at DMCH, Diphu (13 November 2026), alongside one ART post. At the other colleges the MO post is in the ART or ART Plus centre. Do not mix up the centres, because the preferred qualifications are different for each.

What Is the Selection Process for ASACS MO and SMO 2026?

- Carry proof of photo identity: Passport, Voter Card, Aadhar Card, Driving License, PAN Card or similar.
- Reach the Office of the Principal cum Chief Superintendent of that institution by 10.30 AM.
- Submit the form, photocopies and photograph before the interview board and wait for shortlisting.
