- Retired or working Professors may apply for Associate Professor, but they get the Professor pay scale.
- NOC: government, autonomous or statutory body employees should preferably carry an NOC from the employer. If it is not ready, carry a copy of the “applied for NOC”.
- Private practice is not allowed in any capacity after joining.
- Categories: EWS candidates need the Annexure-I certificate (DoPT OM dated 31.01.2019). The OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate must be in the Central Government job format, issued by an officer not below Sub-Divisional Officer rank or an equivalent authority of the State, and not older than one year from the interview date. PH reservation follows Government of India norms.

Retired pensioners may draw total pay without deduction and keep their pension and dearness relief. As a contract post, there is no claim to PF, pension, gratuity, medical benefits, seniority or promotion. Either side can end the contract with one month’s notice. A candidate who resigns on the spot must deposit one month’s salary by challan. Absence beyond 7 days without permission means automatic termination, and attendance is marked manually and on AEBAS daily.
