Do not skip the registration rule: you must be registered with the Karnataka Medical Council or MCI before joining.
Who cannot apply: anyone who has already worked as a Senior Resident under the 3-year Central Senior Residency scheme for 3 years is not eligible.

What Is the Salary for ESIC Hospital Peenya Posts 2026?

Senior Residents lose ₹1,350 if they hold only a Diploma, and ₹2,250 if they hold no Diploma or Degree. Part Time Specialists get ₹800 for every hour beyond 16 hours a week, if justified by the Medical Superintendent. Senior Residents receive a non-practising allowance, so private practice is strictly not allowed.

What Is the Selection Process for ESIC Peenya Walk-in 2026?
The notice names a walk-in interview before a Selection Board and does not describe any other stage. Selection is also subject to medical fitness. For Senior Residents, character and antecedents are verified as well.

The Senior Resident deposit is drawn in favour of “ESIC A/c No 1” payable at Bengaluru, and ₹30,000 of it is kept as administrative cost if you leave within one year. The Specialist deposit is drawn in favour of “ESI Fund Account No. 1” payable at Bangalore. Selected Specialists must hold a professional indemnity policy (₹10 lakh to ₹30 lakh a year depending on specialty) and submit its copy within 7 days of engagement. The ESIC may cancel the process at any stage.
Terms to understand before you go: either side can end the contract with one month’s notice, and a Senior Resident who leaves without notice must pay the shortfall of one month’s salary. Senior Residents get no claim to PF, pension, gratuity, medical allowance, seniority, promotion or leave, and Part Time Specialists get no leave or benefits. Hostel, quarters, uniform and transport allowances are not provided, and selected candidates must open an SBI account if they do not hold one. Wrong information found at any stage can cancel your candidature or appointment without notice or compensation. Think about these points honestly, because the contract is short and a Senior Resident who leaves within one year loses ₹30,000 of the deposit.

OBC candidates must use the central government format (Annexure A), not more than one year old, or face rejection or General treatment. Serving candidates must bring a No Objection Certificate. SC, ST, OBC or EWS candidates get no reservation or relaxation on unreserved seats. No TA/DA is paid for the interview, and canvassing leads to disqualification.
