For Laboratory Attendant, basic knowledge of handling chemicals and glassware is also desirable, and for both posts, skills like operating office machines and computers. The ITI route for Multi-Tasking Staff may be considered when the post relates to technical work.
Work Experience for Group C Posts
Laboratory Attendant and Multi-Tasking Staff need at least one year of working experience at the time of filing the application form. The notice accepts experience as an apprentice, in a government or semi-government office, in a factory, company or hospital, in a recognised educational institute, in a registered cooperative or commercial bank, in an advocate, chartered accountant, architect, cost accountant, company secretary or engineer’s office, or in a private establishment with at least 5 persons. PwBD candidates are exempt only for the posts reserved for PwBD.

For Scientific Assistant (Microbiology) the 30 marks come from Microbiology / Marine Microbiology, and for Scientific Assistant from Chemistry / any branch of Environmental Science. For Laboratory Attendant it is Science (Class 10 Goa Board level), Communication and General Ability, and for Multi-Tasking Staff it is Logical Reasoning, General English, Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude. Passing the Konkani test is mandatory. You must score at least 4 out of 10 in Konkani, and only then will your paper be evaluated further.
