Extra-hour payments for part-timers are subject to the justification of the competent authority, so treat them as possible, not guaranteed.
Which option suits you? If you already run a private practice, the part-time route lets you keep it, because private practice is allowed only for part-time Super Specialists and Specialists. If you want steady pay and leave benefits, the full-time route pays far more and can be extended up to three years. For a young PG doctor, a one-year Senior Residency at a super speciality hospital is solid experience for your next job, and the pay is close to a Junior Specialist’s.
