Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any ONE of the following streams — Home Science, Sociology, Child Development, Nutrition, or Social Work — from a Central/State Act University or UGC Section 3 Deemed University.
- Computer knowledge: Basic computer application knowledge as prescribed under Gujarat Civil Services (Classification and Recruitment) General Rules, 1967. Acceptable proofs include Class 10 or 12 with Computer as a subject, or a Diploma/Degree/Certificate in Computer from a recognised institute.
- Language: Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

What is the Salary for GPSSB Mukhya Sevika 2026?
Selected candidates will be appointed on fixed pay basis for the first 5 years as per the Gujarat Government resolution on contractual appointment of Class-III employees. Regular pay scale applies only after 5 years of satisfactory service, including passing prescribed departmental/computer/training exams.
