The two Manager posts share one category row: EWS 1 and UR 1 across both. The notification does not say which Manager post is EWS and which is UR, so do not assume either. There is no SC, ST or OBC-NCL seat in any regular or contract post. Reserved-category candidates may still apply against a UR seat, but must meet every UR condition. PwBD reservation is horizontal, within the overall vacancies. NHB says the numbers are provisional and may go up or down.

For AGM (Accounts), your current post must be Scale IV in a Public Sector Bank or another SCB on IBA pay scale, Grade C in an AIFI, or E-4 in a PSU. Private-sector candidates are judged on their current position and CTC. Commerce and finance professionals should check this line first. Lawyers can find more openings under law and judicial jobs.
Two more points. Experience through an outsourcing vendor, KPO, BPO or IT support services provider will not be considered. And if your degree certificate does not name your specialisation, carry a university certificate that does.

Regular officers also get accommodation, leased housing or HRA, medical reimbursement, knowledge allowance, conveyance, LTC, gratuity and NPS as per rules. Probation for AGM and Manager is 1 year, extendable by the Bank. The contract DGM post runs for 3 years, and either side can end it with one month’s notice. Deputation posts (GM IT and DGM HR) are applied offline. Send the Annexure-I form through proper channel with attested ACRs / APARs for the last 3 years, NOC and Vigilance Clearance Certificate. Post it by Speed Post or Registered Post to Deputy General Manager (HRMD), National Housing Bank, Head Office, Core 5A, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110003. It must reach NHB by 18 October 2026. Write the post name, marked “on Deputation”, on top of the envelope.
