UPSSSC Sugarcane Supervisor 2026 Notification — 1,182 Posts for B.Sc Agriculture Graduates
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow has released advertisement No. 13-Pariksha/2026 (Ganna Paryavekshak Mukhya Pariksha 2025/14) on 12 May 2026 for direct recruitment of 1,182 Sugarcane Supervisor (Ganna Paryavekshak) posts in the UP Sugar Industry & Cane Development Department. The vacancies are split into Sarani-1 (General Selection — 1,000 posts) and Sarani-2 (Special Selection — 182 posts). The selected candidates will work as Group-C officers with pay scale of Rs 25,500 – Rs 81,100 (Pay Level 4 of UP Pay Matrix).

Educational Qualification
You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (B.Sc Agriculture) from a University established by law in India. Additionally, a CCC certificate in Computer operation issued by DOEACC Society is required. Candidates from other graduation streams (B.Sc / B.A. / B.Com.) are NOT eligible. If you’re a graduate from Agriculture stream looking for UP state govt jobs, this is the most direct entry route.
Age Limit
- Minimum: 21 years (as on 1 July 2026)
- Maximum: 40 years
Age relaxation is available for SC / ST / OBC and other notified categories as per UP State rules. UP State Government employees can avail up to 5 years relaxation per the notification dated 27 August 2013. Mukhyamantri Adhyetavritti (CM Fellowship) candidates have separate relaxations per the notification dated 30 January 2026.
PET 2025 Mandatory
Only candidates who appeared in UPSSSC PET 2025 with a valid scorecard can apply. Shortlisting for the Main Examination will be done on the normalised PET 2025 scores in a ratio of 15× the advertised vacancies category-wise. Candidates with zero, negative, or below-minimum (Absolute) PET 2025 scores will NOT be shortlisted.
