Educational Qualification
You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (B.Sc Agriculture) from a University established by law in India. Additionally, an ‘O’ Level certificate from NIELIT (formerly DOEACC Society) in Computer operation is required. Candidates from other graduation streams (B.Sc / B.A. / B.Com.) are NOT eligible. Age Limit
- Minimum: 21 years (as on 1 July 2026)
- Maximum: 40 years
Age relaxation is available for SC / ST / OBC and other notified categories as per UP State rules. UP State Government employees can avail up to 5 years relaxation per the notification dated 27 August 2013. Mukhyamantri Adhyetavritti (CM Fellowship) candidates have separate relaxations per the notification dated 30 January 2026.
PET 2025 Mandatory
Only candidates who appeared in UPSSSC PET 2025 with a valid scorecard can apply. Shortlisting for the Main Examination will be done on the normalised PET 2025 scores in a ratio of 15× the advertised vacancies category-wise. Candidates with zero, negative, or below-minimum (Absolute) PET 2025 scores will NOT be shortlisted.
