Eligibility Criteria for BEL Ex-Servicemen Recruitment 2025

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for the Senior Assistant Engineer post:

  • Nationality: Must be an Indian National.
  • Educational Qualification: A Diploma in Electronics Engineering or an equivalent qualification (Pass Class) from a recognized institution.

  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience is required. Experience certificates from previous and current employers are mandatory.

Salary and Benefits (Pay Scale)

Selected candidates for the Senior Assistant Engineer (E-I Grade) position will be engaged on a fixed tenure basis, initially for 5 years. This term may be extended for another 5+5 years based on organizational requirements and individual performance.

  • Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- – 3% – Rs. 1,20,000/- 
  • Allowances: In addition to the basic pay, candidates will receive admissible allowances as per company rules.

BEL Recruitment Selection Process 2025

The selection process for the Senior Assistant Engineer (Ex-Servicemen) post involves the following stages:

  1. Written Test: All eligible candidates meeting the criteria will be called for a Written Test. This test carries a weightage of 85%.
  2. Interview: Candidates who clear the Written Test will be shortlisted for an Interview based on their performance, in a ratio of 1:5. The Interview carries a weightage of 15%.
  3. Document Verification: Final selection is subject to document verification and meeting medical fitness standards as prescribed by BEL.
