Eligibility Criteria for CSPDCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for the CSPDCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025:

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Graduate Apprentices: Must possess a B.E./B.Tech. degree in any discipline OR a Bachelor’s degree (B.Pharma/BCA/BBA/BA/BSc/B.Com) in any discipline from a recognized institution.
    • Diploma Apprentices: Must possess a Diploma in Engineering in any discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Domicile: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh state. A valid domicile certificate is required.
  • Experience: Candidates with one year or more of work experience are NOT eligible. Also, candidates who have previously undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act are not eligible.
  • Qualification Gap: The time gap between obtaining the qualifying degree/diploma and the date of commencement of apprenticeship training must be five years or less. Candidates whose graduation was completed more than five years ago are not eligible.
  • NATS Registration: Candidates must mandatorily register themselves on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at www.nats.education.gov.in before applying. The NATS registration number must be mentioned in the application form.

Salary & Benefits (Monthly Stipend)

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend during the one-year training period as per the Apprenticeship Act rules:

  • Graduate Apprentices (Engineering & Non-Engineering): ₹ 9,000/- per month.
  • Diploma Apprentices: ₹ 8,000/- per month.

Important Notes:

  • Apprentices are trainees and not regular employees. This apprenticeship does not guarantee any permanent or temporary employment with CSPDCL after the training period.
  • No hostel accommodation or transportation facilities will be provided to the apprentices by CSPDCL.

Selection Process of Apprentice Trainees in CSPDCL

The selection of candidates for the CSPDCL Apprenticeship Training will be based purely on merit.

  • A merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in their respective qualifying Graduate or Diploma examinations.
  • There will be no written test or interview conducted for this selection.
  • Shortlisted candidates will likely be called for document verification.

  1. NATS Registration: First, register yourself on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal: nats.education.gov.in/student_type.php. Note down your NATS Registration number.
  2. Download Application Form: Download the official notification PDF which includes the application form format. (Link provided below).
  3. Fill Application Form: Fill out the application form in the prescribed format clearly and completely. Ensure your NATS registration number is mentioned.
  4. Attach Documents: Attach self-attested photocopies of the following documents:
    • 10th Mark Sheet 
    • 12th Mark Sheet 
    • Graduation/Diploma Mark Sheets (all semesters/years) and Degree/Diploma Certificate 
    • Permanent Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates, issued by competent authority of Chhattisgarh Govt.) 
    • Chhattisgarh Domicile Certificate (Permanent Resident Certificate) 
    • NATS Registration Form printout showing registration number and details.
    • Self-Affidavit on Stamp Paper (₹10/- or ₹20/- depending on the gap since qualification, as detailed in the notification) declaring no prior apprenticeship training.
  5. Prepare Envelope: Place the filled application form and all attached documents inside a 36.5×25.5 CM envelope.
  6. Superscribe Envelope: Clearly write “Applied for: [Specify Graduate Apprentice (Engg.) / Diploma Apprentice (Engg.) / Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engg.)]”, Branch, NATS Registration No., Category, Year of Passing, and Percentage Achieved on the envelope as per the format shown in the notification. Also, mention your name and address as the sender.
  7. Submit Application: Send the application envelope by post or submit it directly at the office counter (between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM on working days) to the following address before the deadline:
