Eligibility Criteria for Indian Navy Agniveer (MR) Recruitment 2025
- Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed Matriculation Examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from the Boards of School Education recognized by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
- Candidates appearing in the 10th Board Exam of the academic year 2024-25 are also eligible to apply, provided they fulfill all other eligibility criteria.
- Such candidates will be selected only if they produce the original marksheet during subsequent stages of the recruitment process and secure the minimum laid down marks.
- Age Limit:
- Agniveer 02/2025 Batch: Candidates should be born between 01 Sep 2004 – 29 Feb 2008 (both dates inclusive).
- Agniveer 01/2026 Batch: Candidates should be born between 01 Feb 2005 – 31 Jul 2008 (both dates inclusive).
- Agniveer 02/2026 Batch: Candidates should be born between 01 Jul 2005 – 31 Dec 2008 (both dates inclusive).
- Candidates born between 01 Sep 2004 and 31 Dec 2008 are eligible to apply for INET 2025.
- Marital Status: Only unmarried Indian male and female candidates are eligible. Candidates must provide a certificate of being unmarried at the time of enrollment and shall not be permitted to marry during their four-year tenure.

Salary & Benefits
- Agniveers will be paid ₹30,000 per month with a fixed yearly increment.
- They will also receive risk and hardship, dress, and travel allowances.
- Agniveers will get a one-time Seva Nidhi package upon completing their engagement period.
- Life Insurance Cover of Rs. 48 lakh for the duration of their engagement.
- Death Compensation of Rs. 44 Lakh in addition to insurance cover.
- Disability Compensation of Rs. 44/25/15 Lakh based on % of disability (100%/75%/50%).
Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Stage I: INET 2025 Exam: Conducted in May 2025.
- The exam will be computer-based, bilingual (Hindi & English), and objective-type.
- It will consist of 50 questions (1 mark each) from Science & Mathematics and General Awareness.
- The standard of the question paper will be 10th.
- The duration of the examination will be 30 minutes.
- There will be a penalty for wrong answers (negative marking).
- Stage II:
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Written Examination
- The written exam will be for candidates who qualify for the PFT.
- It will have 50 questions of 1 mark each, bilingual, and objective-type.
- The paper will include Science & Mathematics and General Awareness, with a 10th-grade standard.
- The duration will be 30 minutes.
- Recruitment Medical Examination
- Provisional Select List will be prepared based on performance in the Stage-II written exam, subject to qualification in the PFT and Recruitment Medical Examination.

- It is advised to fill in the correct details while filling the online application form.
- Applications can also be uploaded from Common Service Centers (CSC) across the country (optional, with a fee of Rs 60 + GST).
Application Fees
- An examination fee of Rs. 550/- plus 18% GST is applicable for Stage I INET applications.
- The fee is to be paid online.
- Fee once paid will not be refunded.
