Only those candidates may apply who appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 and were issued a score card by the Commission. Shortlisting for the main examination is done on the merit of the normalised PET 2025 score. Candidates who scored zero or a negative normalised score in PET 2025 will not be shortlisted.

Educational Qualification

As per Part-4, Rule-8 of the Uttar Pradesh Animal Husbandry Department Veterinary Pharmacist Service Rules, 2025, a candidate must possess:

What is the Salary for UPSSSC Veterinary Pharmacist 2026?

The notification prints the pay clearly in the vacancy table, so there is no guesswork here. The Veterinary Pharmacist post carries Pay Matrix Level-5, with a pay scale running from a minimum of ₹29,200 to a maximum of ₹92,300.

  • Pay Level: Level-5
  • Pay scale (minimum): ₹29,200
  • Pay scale (maximum): ₹92,300
  • Nature of post: Permanent and temporary

Level-5 of the Uttar Pradesh pay matrix places this post comfortably above most other diploma-level state postings, and the ₹92,300 ceiling means real long-term growth within the same grade.

On top of the basic pay you receive Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance and the other allowances admissible to Uttar Pradesh government employees, which push the monthly in-hand well beyond the entry basic. For a diploma-level post in the animal husbandry cadre, this is a genuinely attractive package with permanent job security.
