Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education & Experience:
- Team Leader (Safety) (CP/12/25):
- Full-time Bachelor’s Degree (any Engineering branch) AND Degree or Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by the state government.
- Minimum 15 years experience in high-rise buildings/KWA projects/shore protection works etc., managing health and safety. OSHA or NEBOSH certification preferred.
- Team Leader (MEP) (CP/13/25):
- Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics related fields OR Mechanical Engineering related fields.
- Minimum 15 years experience in high-rise building projects/KWA projects with experience in handling engineering and overall coordination. Good knowledge of Electrical/HVAC/Firefighting ELV & Plumbing systems required.
- Project Engineer (MEP) (CP/14/25):
- Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics related fields OR Mechanical Engineering related fields.
- Minimum 7 years experience in Electrical/HVAC/Firefighting ELV & Plumbing systems including interface coordination.
- Safety Engineer (CP/15/25):
- Full-time Bachelor’s Degree (any Engineering branch) AND Degree or Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by the state government.
- Minimum 5 years experience for degree holders and 7 years for diploma holders in Safety within relevant project categories.
- Junior Engineer (MEP) (CL/13/25):
- Full-time Bachelor’s Degree OR Full-Time Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience for degree holders and 7 years for diploma holders in Electrical Engineering, specifically in water supply/Building/shore protection works/waterways/irrigation/Harbour projects.
- Note: Training/internship/teaching/academic/fellowship/PhD research experience does not count towards post-qualification experience. Degrees must be AICTE recognized.
Age Limit:
- Maximum Age: 55 years as of April 25, 2025 (last date of application).
- Relaxations: Applicable for reserved categories as per government orders (SC/ST: 5 years, OBC-NCL: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years plus category relaxation).

Salary & Benefits
Remuneration varies based on the post:
- Team Leader (Safety/MEP): ₹70,000-₹2,00,000 scale (Approx. CTC ₹19.6 LPA)
- Project Engineer (MEP): ₹50,000-₹1,60,000 scale (Approx. CTC ₹14.07 LPA)
- Safety Engineer: ₹40,000-₹1,40,000 scale (Approx. CTC ₹11.3 LPA)
- Junior Engineer (MEP) (Degree Holder – 5 yrs exp): Approx. Gross Monthly Pay ₹46,417 (Yearly CTC ₹5,57,008)
- Junior Engineer (MEP) (Diploma Holder – 7 yrs exp): Approx. Gross Monthly Pay ₹34,471 (Yearly CTC ₹4,13,651)
Benefits Include: Basic Pay, DA, Allowances, HRA/Lease, PF Contribution, Gratuity, Leaves, Medical Facility, Insurance, Leave Encashment as per company rules for contract employees. Actual remuneration depends on posting location and terms.
Selection Process of Engineering Professionals in RITES Limited
The selection process involves:
- Online Application Submission
- Document Scrutiny/Verification: Eligibility check based on submitted online application.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear for an Interview (100% weightage). Minimum qualifying marks in the interview are 60% for UR/EWS and 50% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD.
- Medical Examination: Selected candidates must be found medically fit.
